Happy Birthday Terence

Since Curt had to travel on T's birthday (March 29th), we decided to take him out for dinner on Saturday night (March 27th). Each kid gets to choose birthday party or dinner / evening alone with mom and dad. T always chooses the latter. This year he chose TG Italiano for dinner which was fantastic.

My nephew, Austin, flew in earlier that day and was a trooper about staying awake and joining us (per T's wish)! He also invited one of his buddies along with us too.

All in all, it was a perfect night at TG Italiano. Before dinner, T had requested that we go up to Challenge Land, a great repelling obstacle course in the trees. Unfortunately, we couldn't make it before they closed so instead we went to see the incredible DreamWorks animation: How to Train Your Dragon. We highly recommend it!

Pictures from Challenge Land are coming soon as we finally made it there on Sunday. In the meantime, here are a few great photos from Saturday night...

T adores their mango and pineapple smoothies!

We managed to surprise him with a cake. The entire restaurant (or at least the section surrounding our table) sang along to the DJ's Happy Birthday CD! T was SO, SO, SO surprised! He actually wanted to leave about 15 mins before the cake came out and we kept making excuses why we had to wait around a bit longer. He later laughed about us tricking him and surprising him. He loved it! And, so did we!

Look at the sequence of events when the cake came out... Thankfully Curt managed to capture them all on film

He has no idea and then he looks up... Ta Da!

FOR PAPA

I just scrolled down on our blog and realized the video for Papa had Terence cut out of it. If you want to view the full sized video, please click on this link below on YouTube.

Sorry about that. I hope you didn't think I'd intentionally cut T out of it...

Austin is Here

On Saturday, my nephew, Austin, arrived to Budapest for his first ever visit. We are so excited to have him here. However, it's only for a short 1 week visit (boo hoo). It's great he managed to be here for Terence's birthday (yesterday)!

Here are just a few photos from our weekend.
